He entered the legal profession as an Articled Clerk in 1980 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1982 with Vernon and Shakespeare in Oldbury in the West Midlands. He then went on to Wm. Bache & Sons in 1984 where he became a Partner in the firm and remained until 1991 when he started his own firm of Sidhu & Co Solicitors based in Edgbaston, Birmingham. Gurmail has been working for Douglas Wemyss Solicitors since 2008.Gurmail has a solid background in all aspects of corporate/commercial work including:Gurmail has undertaken work in the past for major lenders such as the Bank of Ireland and the West Bromwich Building Society. He also acts for a variety of clients with local, national and international interests.
