Mike Gatting Launching New Sports Centre

The Commercial Property team at Douglas Wemyss Solicitors have successfully completed the lease for the Leicester Sports Center in Freemen’s Common.

As a result we are pleased to be invited to the launch of this newly furbished Indoor Cricket and Football Centre in the heart of Leicester and staff from DWS will be joining in the celebrations of this historic launch of the Sports Centre.

We will have an opportunity to meet and greet the ex England cricket captain Mike Gatting (OBE), up and coming young England prospects Josh Cobb and Shiv Thakor on Sunday 6th October 2013 from 3pm onwards.

The opening ceremony will take place at 4pm followed by a complimentary buffet including soft drinks, tea and coffee. The Centre is also hoping to have some local councillors and special guests to witness this launch event.

The centre aims to encourage all members of the community to participate and take up sports. It will have leagues in Cricket, Fotball and Netball aimed at Women, Men, Girls and Boys. The Centre will also be available to hire for tournaments or parties 7 days a week.
