I have used this firm twice. Once in 2017 for the purchase of my shared ownership property, and once in 2020 for the sale of the property. They were very thorough and kept a very cool and steadfast attitude to work, especially when it came to dealing with the seller, the sellers solicitors, the freeholder, the freeholders solicitors, the management company, the leasehold team, the landlords and landlords solicitors.It could have been very messy, but Chaz, and especially Luke were super organised and were able to keep on top of things. They even managed to correct the mistakes of those other teams when they made errors or had missing information. DWS was competitively priced, had a no completion no fee system and were very good with communication and updates in a timely manner.I rate 5 out of 5.

DWS carried out the conveyancing process for our new home. I was very impressed with Chaz Thandi's team, who were professional and efficient in their work. We personally dealt with Luke Shipley, who offered swift response to my many queries. I would use them again.

They are the best lawyers in Leicester.  They do not waste your time and do not charge overly.  Luke Shipley is such a kind person and he is the one who made the honest efforts to get through our house deal. Chaz thandi and Luke Shipley both worked hard and always replied all our queries within the same day.  There was no communication delay and they were forwarding every piece of paper to us( as a buyer) to look thoroughly before signing the contract.  They did not push us to sign any contract and to decide the completion date despite having numerous calls from the vendor s solicitor and the estate agent.  Luke Shipley managed well the pressure from the vendor side and did not let the deal affect from it. Their staff ( reception, finance) everyone is so polite and professional.  I would definitely recommend DWS  to everyone and would be using their services for future.  Good luck DWS....

I have been a returning client with DWS legal for about 18 months now, often working very closely with the conveyancing team headed by Chaz Thandi. I have purchased 3 properties through DWS all of which were handled by Luke Shipley as a primary contact. I have enjoyed working with Luke as he has shown an excellent eye for detail and has been prompt and effective when helping me out in sticky situations. One of my transactions recently hung in the balance due to sellers being difficult (I ended up having to buy my own building certificate?!) and Luke very kindly laid out all of my options and their probable effectiveness. All is done and dusted now, with thanks to Luke the whole DWS team.I have also worked with Kam Singh's team, whom also showed great care and attention to myself as a client during the process. Kam is another solicitor with a wealth of experience which he seems to happily share with his team to get the best out of everybody.Needless to say, I am working with DWS now as my only legal firm. Our solicitor was Mohamed Amir Patel - it was our first purchase, and had an islamic mortgage which is complicated. Mohamed sorted everything out within 2 months which is crazy! our only delay was the onward chain, and Mohamed would email the estate agents and sellers solicitor each week trying to confirm dates to move.I have always heard horror stories about first home purchase especially islamic mortgage and the complications. I cant begin to say how amazing the service was provided to us. I can only imaginbe how much more smoothly it would have went had we not been with islamic bank.Do not ever go with your estate agents solicitor, and have recomemend Mohamed to all of my friends and family, they are all at the age of purchasing first home and its an exciting but stressful time.
